Submission Period
11 January 2024 – 31 March 2024 at 23:59 (UTC+8)
Submission Requirements
Photos must be captured using an OPPO or OnePlus smartphone. Only photos in JPG, JPEG, PNG, DNG, HEIC, and HEIF format are accepted. The submission should not be smaller than 1000 pixels in width, and the size of a single photo should be larger than 1M and not exceed 20M.
The photos should not be altered in any desktop image processing program such as Photoshop and Lightroom. Moderate post-processing on the photos is permissible, such as adjusting the brightness, contrast, white balance, saturation, etc. Composite images that change the original content of the photo are not acceptable.
Submitted works must align with theme "Stand Out, In Portrait" and will be considered under the OPPO imagine IF Photography Awards 2024 Portrait category by default. Each submission should include a title within 100 letters and a caption within 1000 letters.
Participants are limited to a maximum of 15 entries, with a maximum of 1 submission per entry.
Evaluation Criteria
Entries should closely align with the theme, capturing subjects naturally and authentically with rich emotions, strong storytelling, and impact. The final winning works will be selected by professional judge.
Prizes
Portrait Master Prize (for works shot by any OPPO & OnePlus device): USD 1,400 each - awarded to 2 people
Reno Master Prize (for works shot by Reno series device): USD 700 each - awarded to 3 people
Excellence Prize: USD 350 each - awarded to 5 people
* Winners' works will proceed directly to the final judging stage of the OPPO imagine IF Photography Awards 2024
Note:
Participants must retain the original image with complete EXIF information for the submitted photos. In case of disputes related to intellectual property rights, including copyrights, if the original image cannot be provided, the event organizer reserves the right to cancel the winning qualification of the work.
Submitted photo entries must adhere to guidelines: no violence, explicit content, racial discrimination, reactionary or derogatory content towards society, religion, or religious taboos. Entries must comply with laws and regulations, not violating public order and good customs. Entries that breach these conditions will not be displayed or considered for evaluation.
OPPO APAC region here includes Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Laos, Philippines and Cambodia.
Prize money will be paid in USD, or the winner's local currency based on the real-time exchange rate.
