Envisioning Joyful Portrait Frames - Let your imagination flow, capturing the essence of joy in every portrait.
Submission Period
12th February - 30th July
Submission Requirements
Photos must be captured using an OPPO or any smartphone. Only photos in JPG, JPEG, PNG, DNG, HEIC, and HEIF format are accepted. The photos should not be altered in any desktop image processing program such as Photoshop and Lightroom.
Moderate post-processing on the photos is permissible, such as adjusting the brightness, contrast, white balance, saturation, etc. Composite images that change the original content of the photo are not acceptable.
Submitted works must align with the theme "Envisioning Joyful Portrait Frames" and will be considered under the OPPO imagine IF Photography Awards 2024 Portrait category by default. Each submission should include a title and a caption.
Evaluation Criteria
Entries ought to captivate with a fresh and innovative approach in capturing joy, ensuring your entry shines uniquely. Additionally, we underscore the importance of interpreting the theme, "Envisioning Joyful Portrait Frames," fostering narratives that authentically stir emotions and joyfully resonate with the viewer.
Prizes
1. OPPO Lens Master Award
- Open to OPPO photography only.
- 3 Winners will each receive an OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G (12GB RAM + 512GB ROM)
- Winners' works will proceed directly to the final judging stage of the OPPO imagine IF Photography Awards 2024 to win up to $24,000 annual master prize.
2. Reno Portrait Master Award
- Open to all Reno models submissions.
- 3 Winners will each receive an OPPO Reno11 F with (8GB RAM +256GB ROM)
3. Portrait Lens Award
- Open to all phone models submissions.
- 20 Winners will each receive photography services at Imprint Studio - JLT for a Corporate/Individual/Family Studio Portrait. It includes the sessions + 1 high resolution Digital Portrait + 1 Gallery-Style Framed Print 20x25.

Note:
Participants must retain the original image with complete EXIF information for the submitted photos. In case of disputes related to intellectual property rights, including copyrights, if the original image cannot be provided, the event organizer reserves the right to cancel the winning qualification of the work.
Submitted photo entries must adhere to guidelines: no violence, explicit content, racial discrimination, reactionary or derogatory content towards society, religion, or religious taboos. Entries must comply with laws and regulations, not violating public order and good customs. Entries that breach these conditions will not be displayed or considered for evaluation.
The campaign is open to residents of UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait who are aged 18 or above
The prize smartphone’s colors are random, and OPPO reserves the final interpretation of the rewards.
The winners will be notified via direct message on the social media platform they used for their post or the submission email they use. They must respond within a specified time frame to claim their prize.
Prize money will be paid in USD, or the winner's local currency based on the real-time exchange rate.
By submitting an entry, the entrant agrees that if the entry wins any award in the competition, it grants the organizer permission to use the entry for commercial distribution, and the entrant retains all rights to the entry.
